Art scene walk throughs in Buenos Aires and New York
These walk throughs are intended to help you get rapidly acquainted with the artistic past and current production at any of these vibrant cities. As a previous step, this web site has been designed to provide you with preliminary information about both local art scenes over the internet, in order to narrow down the scope of museums, galleries and studios we might eventually visit, according to your interests and preferences.
Art Market Reviews and Updates
We have access to a vast database of auction and private sale results. This enables us to appraise pieces in your collection, and provide market information when the time comes to sell or purchase an actual piece.
Collection Management
Collecting is mostly about filling gaps. Any art collection, regardless of its size, is a work in progress. The balance and scope of a collection tend to evolve thru time. Pure artistic concerns and financial issues are at stake. We provide advice and information to support the decisions you might make in this respect. Other collection managerial issues as cataloguing and restoring pieces can also be addressed on your behalf.
Sales and Acquisitions
We might find pieces for you upon request, or help you sell those pieces that you might decide to replace for balance purposes or other reasons.
Searches for art pieces upon request
These days galleries and art dealers operate as a network. Being a part of this network, we are in a position to locate rare or specific pieces according to author, time period or style.
Art export: handling, regulations and procedures
Different counties have different policies and regulations concerning the circulation of art. This also varies according to time period and type of artwork. Some countries like Argentina apply currency control to all exports. This might affect your purchases at the time of exporting pieces. Transportation of art pieces is also a delicate matter which could turn into an expensive proposition. Proper crating and some form of insurance might be in order, according to the size and value of the travelling pieces. We have developed thru time and experience, a vast menu of options and creative solutions to address these matters, so that the post-acquisition expenses stay proportionate to the value of your purchase.
